Study Rooms

The National Taipei College of Nursing has fully equipped professional classrooms and biochemistry labs. Recently, distance learning facilities and several multimedia classrooms were installed at the two campuses to integrate teaching resources and cater to modern teaching objectives. Furthermore, under the Ministry of Education policies, the National Taipei College of Nursing established the Nursing Development Center and the Health Science and Education Center to consolidate medical and nursing teaching facilities and establish a versatile service system.

 

Life and Death Study Room

The study room was established in September 1998. It was aimed to enhance the National Taipei College of Nursing Life and Death education, as well as the integration of its theoretical and practical training. At present, several lecturers handle Life and Death research teaching and services. Research subject matters include the following:

1. Plan and compile short-, medium- and long-term research projects for the center.
2. Gather and compile domestic and foreign Life and Death studies.
3. Accept government and private sector commissioned Life and Death research studies.
4. Study Taiwanese Life and Death perceptions, attitudes towards death, death anxieties, fear of death and establish a dynamic database of information.
5. Examine other life and death related matters.

Multimedia Video Lab

In 2001, the Multimedia Video Lab, established with a grant from the Ministry of Education, set up a teaching model of digitized nursing curriculum, which covers the management of materials, skill training, and online learning and tests. In order to promote the integration of resources and academic exchanges effectively, this hi-tech learning environment will play a vital role in school alliances and the establishment of the Health Science and Education Center to improve the mutual understanding and collaboration among schools.
